The Living Archive turns history into a conversation. Ask a question, and a historical figure or place answers — in their own voice, grounded in what the record actually says.
How it works
Personas are built from biographies, letters, speeches, and scholarly sources, then portrayed by large language models tuned to stay peer-to-peer rather than theatrical. When the historical record is silent, the persona will say so rather than invent.
Voice
Subscribers can hear personas speak through historically-informed voice mappings — regional accents, era-appropriate tone — generated by ElevenLabs.
